About 3 weeks ago I decided that it was time I quit being a chicken and just go for my dream of being a full-time greeting card sender.
The following week we moved into our “SendOutCards House” as we like to call our 1930′s dream farmhouse. So, although I had an awesome first week – signed up 3 new reps in one week – woohooo – the second week was a wash (and a scrub/pack/move/paint/more scrubbing – the list goes on).
So I lost a little momentum in the second week, but what I noticed was that I felt very excited (aside from the thrill of moving into our new home, of course).
Instead of being terrified like I should have been, I felt calm and yet madly excited at the same time. I mean, I have been bouncing out of bed and rushing to the computer to send cards and to follow up with people and training my small but enthusiastic group of reps, and generally WANTING to face the day. I know, weird, right?
This is my 3rd week of working full-time in my card sending business, and I am about to sign up another new rep – a wonderful guy and a real go-getter. Then I will only have ONE MORE person to sign up and I’ll be a SENIOR MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!! Who will that next person be? Will it be YOU? I sincerely hope so.
