Wayne and I try to make it a point to meet at least one new person per day. A lot of people ask us how we manage to do that. Well – we do a lot of ‘lifestyle marketing.’ What’s lifestyle marketing? Well, it’s meeting new people through simply living your life.
For example, we have 3 young children, so we’re constantly attending cub scout meetings, school open houses, birthday parties and other kid-related events. Really, that’s all we would need to do to meet an average of one new person per day!

But if we didn’t have kids Wayne and I have a lot of different interests we would pursue, such as going to independent film festivals, quilting classes (okay – me, not Wayne), attending networking meetings, going on group hikes, and going to dinner with friends (oh – I remember those days – vaguely!)
I hope this inspires you to get out there and meet some people – all you have to do is pursue things you personally enjoy – that way you’ll be meeting people with similar interests to yours, and you’ll enjoy the experience of building your business while making new friends. What could be better?
Enjoy!
